The hadīth ash-sherīf reported by ad-Dārimī:

“KNOW THAT THE WICKED ’ULAMĀ’ ARE THE WORST AMONG THE WICKED! AND THAT THE GOOD ’ULAMĀ’ ARE THE BEST AMONG THE GOOD!”

This hadīth sherīf is explained in Hadrat al-Imām ar-Rabbānī’s Maktūbat, I, 53rd letter (Endless Bliss, Second Fascicle, Chapter 10).
